Here is a map of some of our installations. The yellow circles represent solar panels in Cumbria and the red stars represent electric vehicle charging points in Cumbria.
You’ll see from the map that there are several clusters for our installations the reason for this is really simple. Most of our work comes from referrals like this one that kicked off the Cockermouth cluster:
“Being very conservative with our money we naturally had quite a few quotes for a PV solar array. I was not happy with one salesman, who after being told that we would not sign up on the day prior to visiting us ignored that and got quite angry!
There was certainly no pressure from Suzanne and Lawrence, they do not “sell” they answer questions, we liked their approach. After a few days deliberation we went with Solway Renewables.
I am so glad that we went with our “gut feeling”. (Of course the price was also a factor).
The installation is far superior to what we were expecting and the panels are performing better than anticipated. So what more could we ask for?
If you want a good, honest service, use Solway Renewables.
I have seen other companies at work locally and although they said that they would use scaffolding, they did not (and in the case of accident the householder IS liable).
I cannot recommend Solway Renewables highly enough, we are indeed very satisfied customers!”

Areas we cover for solar panels
We rarely move out of Cumbria for solar panels, our roofers are so good they have work booked in from months in advance in Cumbria and although we have regular time scheduled with them in Cumbria they just don’t have capacity for fitting outside the county.
If you live outside the county and you want quality installation work contact us – we work with several installers throughout the country and will happily point you in the direction of a quality installer near you if we can.
Areas we cover for electric vehicle charging points.
We cover Cumbria and if there are multiple jobs, we will cover the North of Lancashire and the West of the North East. Obviously it’s financially and environmentally more cost effective for us to install locally. It also means if you have any problems later on we’re within easy reach to sort out any problems.
